Tesamorelin

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH) designed to stimulate endogenous growth hormone (GH) secretion through activation of GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary.

In research and clinical investigations, tesamorelin has been studied for its effects on growth hormone pulsatility, insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) levels, and metabolic parameters related to body composition and lipid regulation. Its mechanism promotes physiologic GH release rather than direct hormone replacement.
